Welcome to PEP Moms!

Whether you are an experienced mom or a mother-to-be, PEP Moms is there to provide you with Christian based support to face the many challenges of parenting.

Over 150 women are active members of Parents Encouraging Parents or "PEP Moms" each year. New members are always welcome. This special ministry was established to give women an opportunity to experience Christian support, fellowship and spiritual growth as it relates to motherhood. This group is open to mothers who have newborns through first grade as well as those who may be not be members of Cedar Springs. Motherhood is a wonderful and challenging calling and it is important that we feel supported and appreciated. We offer Christian fellowship as we journey through this season of our lives. Monthly meetings provide our members an opportunity to learn and grow spiritually from a host of inspiring speakers and small group discussions, activities and prayer. Members also have an optional opportunity to continue fellowship over lunch at the Church. Outside of our meetings, small groups continue to provide support through events and activities from playdates, moms night out events, family activities, community service activities, and a network for prayer and spiritual parenting information. Annually, we host a winter retreat for members as well.

Our goals are to:

Provide opportunities for spiritual and emotional growth in a Christian-based format
Encourage positive and practical ideas on parenting, marriage, and family relationships
Develop close friendships and promote fun and fellowship
Leave the meetings feeling valued, supported, and energized

The nursery is provided free of charge for children from birth to preschool age. Childcare will be available on a limited basis from 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Please provide a finger food lunch and a drink for your child. NO blue, red, or purple drinks, or peanut butter allowed in the nursery. Please be sure to label ALL items that are sent with your child.

Registration fee is $25. The optional lunch tickets may be purchased each semester for $35 for the fall and $28 for the spring. If you start in the middle of the year, lunch costs will be pro-rated. Scholarships are also available and completely confidential.
